Russia set a full-scale war on Ukraine as a “special military operation” to your population when it is being waged inside your border?’.
That is a tough question now facing the top military and civilian authority in the capital of the world’s biggest country.
The Government of Vladimir Putin alongside its military has been seen as quite shocked as troops of their adversary crossed the border between the two and began its military operation inside the territory of their sacred motherland.
For over 2 years now a massive conflict has been ragging in Eastern Europe which has caught global attention since it began.
From fuel embargo to energy sabotage to attack on civilian infrastructures, chemical attacks, financial aid and arms embargo, fertilizer crisis to nuclear blackmail.
The world has seen all of these in a short period. But now Ukraine the much weaker and smaller nation of the two has pulled up a surprise that nobody had ever expected before.
Ukraine Border Crossing in Russia
Armed with Western weapons and a bit of courage 10,000 of the best troops available to Ukraine have crossed the border with their hated neighbor and racked havoc on the land.
Russia on the other hand overconfident in their superiority of arms and men, has neglected their border with Ukraine at those positions for a very long time.
As a result, it had failed to evacuate those areas in time before the occupation by the Ukrainian forces.
The whole endeavor by the Ukrainians has put the Russian authority and the Russian state in great peril.
Russian Struggle in Ukraine
On one hand, Russia’s struggle over the Donbas region of Ukraine is at a critical point now an enormous resource including arms and manpower will be hugely required to gain any successful moment in those directions by the Russian state.
On the other hand, the security of the motherland is the utmost priority of the Russian state. Putin and the other top leaderships in the Kremlin are by now struggling to content the Ukrainian expansion upon their land.
while also trying their absolute best to keep the population while their homes are being invaded and destroyed at the same time.
Will Russia be able to content the enemy incursion in their land in time or will it have to give up its hard-fought and hard-won territories in Ukraine to get those lands back, remains to be seen.
But whatever happens, there is no doubt that the largest invasion since 1941 into their motherland has left the Russian population and their government astonished by their superpower prospects in the rest of the world.
Taking note of such an audacious and huge endeavor by a small country in eastern Europe that everybody thought would be wiped off the map of the earth within 3 days back in February 2022.
