Assassination Attempt On Israel PM Netanyahu.

On Saturday (October 19, 2024) Netanyahu accused Iran backed Hezbollah. He made accused Hezbollah of trying to assassinate him. The middle east already on edge after Israel had vowed to retaliate for an Iranian missile barrage.

Mr. Netanyahu’s office said a drone was launched towards his residence. He an his wife were not home at that time. 

Netanyahu’s Reply on Assassination Attempt.

“The attempt by Iran’s proxy Hezbollah to assassinate me and my wife today was a grave mistake.” Mr. Neranyahu said in a statement. 

Anyone who tries to harm Israel’s citizens will pay a heavy price.” he said in comments. 

Iran’s Alleges Hezbollah Behind Drone Attack.

Lebanese groups armed and financed by Iran didn’t acknowledge the attack. But late Saturday Iran’s United Nations mission said “This action was taken by Hezbollah”.

Caesarea (Isreal’s PM assassination attempt took place). It is about 20 Km (12 miles) south of Haifa city. Haifa city which Hezbollah regularly targets.
