1. Monsters: the Lyle and Erik Menendez story
The series is titled Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story and is the second season of the American biographical crime drama television series developed by Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan for Netflix.
This season is centered on the case when the murdered 1989 victims were José (Javier Bardem) and Kitty Menéndez (Chloë Sevigny), whose sons are Erik (Cooper Koch) and Lyle (Nicholas Alexander Chavez). It premiered on 19 September 2024.
This is the second season of the Dahmer-centric Monster anthology series. What started as a limited series on Netflix in 2020, was renewed for 2022 as an anthology series and two additional editions based on “other monstrous figures” were set to be developed.
The second season delves into the tragic and shocking Menéndez brothers’ case and consists of a total of 9 episodes.
It received positive reviews from critics and is still earning plaudits for performances; it drew criticism, however, over its running-time-length and inconsistent tone.
As well as its incestuous endorsement of the Menéndez brothers, who are not amused about their portrayal in the series. A third season is in the works and will see Charlie Hunnam as Ed Gein.
2. Emily in Paris – Netflix Series
The series was created by Darren Star for an American romantic comedy-drama and is streamed on the platform of Netflix. The television series has Lily Collins as the protagonist Emily Cooper, an American girl moving to Paris to offer her services to a French marketing firm with an American perspective. She’s a marketing executive and hopes to eventually be one.
She tries to overcome the challenges of friendships, love, and work in Paris. Other notable members of the cast for this series are Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, Ashley Park, Lucas Bravo, Samuel Arnold, Bruno Gouery, Camille Razat, William Abadie, and Lucien Laviscount.

The series is produced by MTV Entertainment Studios, and the series reportedly originated from Paramount Network where it was first reported to have put up a series order for September 2018. The production house was changed to Netflix in July 2020. Shooting kicked off in August and is currently being filmed as a vacation in Île-de-France majorly in and around Paris.
The second part of Emily in Paris Season 4 consisting of Episodes 6-10 was made available on September 12, Thursday, while the first segment of Season 4 which comprises of Episodes 1-5 premiered on August 15.
3. Squid Game – New Season
Notable is that Hwang Dong-Hyuk’s Squid Games was one of the series dropped by Netflix in 2021 when the COVID-19 pandemic peaked.
The show was about where 456 people participating in a deadly children’s game and portrays how low the human character can get in so many ways for the sake of money.
And so far, the delight persists for the season 2 will be released at the twilight of the last day of 2024 year, that is, on December 26th.
