London Spirit Women won the final of the women’s tournament for the first time. The final was played between London Spirit W and Weles Fire W on the evening of August 18 at Lord’s Ground in London, where London Spirit W won the toss and opted to field. The openers of Welsh Fire W didn’t do well, as they lost their first wicket as Sophia Dunkley on the team total of 22-1 in 15 balls.
Tammy Beaumont and Hayle Mathews try to contribute as they score 21 runs on 16 balls and 22 runs on 26 balls, respectively. But their partnership ended soon as the London Spirit W bowlers dominated one-sided. Wicketkeeper-batsman Sarah Bryce also lost her wicket to Sarah Glenn on the team score of 32-3 in 29 balls.
